USA edged the Dominican Republic 2-1 in a nail-biter to reach the World Baseball Classic final on Sunday (15 March).
The Dominican Republic opened the scoring in the bottom of the second inning when Junior Caminero hit his third home run of the tournament.
But the United States countered with a pair of solo shots in the fourth, first by Gunnar Henderson and then Roman Anthoy.
